2nd International Photography Exhibition
2003 - 80th Anniversary of Turkish Republic
........................ FIAP - 2003/119 ........................


    In the 80th Anniversary of Turkish Republic, we would like to
emphasise our determination to progress non-stop in the direction of the
principles of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of Republic.
     Founded in 1911, Yildiz Technical University is continuing with its
8 Faculties, Institutes of Graduate Studies in Science and Engineering
and Social Sciences, Vocational High School, and High School of Foreign
Languages. The 8 Faculties are: Electric-Electronic Engineering, Civil
Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry-Metallurgy Engineering,
Literature and Natural Sciences, Architecture, Economics and
Administrative Sciences, Art and Design.
     Art and Design Faculty was founded in 1998 and has 7 Programs:
Combined Arts, Art Management, Photography and Video, Communication
Design, Modern Dance, Music Ensembles, and Musicology.
 This Exhibition has been organised by Photography and Video Program.

R e g u l a t i o n s

1- The Exhibition is open to all photographers, and will be organised in
accordance with FIAP rules.
2- Subject is free and Exhibition is two sections :
A.. Manually Altered Photographs : during shooting (pan, vibrate, zoom,
multi-exposure, etc), during printing (dodging-burning, print from
different negatives, montage, zoom, sabattier, etc), after finishing
(hand colouring, toning, collage, etc) or old techniques (for example
gum-dichromate)..
B.. Digital Images : photographs modified digitally in any way.
3- Maximum 4 prints per author for per section are to be submitted.
Print size is free, but should not exceed 30x40cm. We prefer unmounted,
but if mounted light cardboard support only. All prints should bear the
name, address, email, number and title at the back side.
4- Entry Fee is 8.$/? (or 15 IRC) for surface mail return (If the parcel
exceeds 1kg please add 5.$/? more). If the author wants airmail return,
please add 7.$/? more for European countries and 15.$/? more for
overseas countries.
5- Awards for each Section .....................:
.. FIAP Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals.
.. FIAP Honourable Mentions.
.. Yıldız Technical University Awards.
.. ESBAŞ Awards.
.. Awards for young authors under age of 25.
6- All the works will be returned after exhibition with an illustrated
catalogue. The organisers will take all the possible care but cannot
accept liability for damage or loss of entries.
