Philip,

The Durst lens boards are circular and of relatively small diameter. 
Certainly possible to produce a DIY version but much more difficult than 
making a recessed lens board for a camera.

One possible DIY solution would be to turn up a series of flat plates 
(black plastic) of smaller diameter than the outside diameter of the lens 
board and stack them on a standard lens board with a suitably large hole 
drilled into it. The edges of the standard lens board have a bevelled edge 
to match the holding arrangement for the board and to give the option 
of  rotating the board 360 degrees. This allows lenses to be screwed into a 
thread on the board and still have the aperture information visible 
wherever the lens ends up by simply rotating the lens board to a suitable 
position before clamping.
