I'm late in assembling my reply to you and to Richard regarding my
convertible Protar(s).  You were right, thank you... using the rear
element alone gave me the chance to use both the front and rear
extensions on the 11x14 in order to focus the resulting 23 1/4 inch
lens.

More later, including some scans of my paper negatives... the result of
my very simple lens coverage tests.
