[LargeFormat] Panatomic-X still around sort of...

Hi Les!

     Of the large roll of Panatomic-X I've got, I've only developed some that
was cut
to 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 that I shot in a Graflex SLR.  But it was a PITA to cut to
that size.
I'm getting the 5x7 soon and cutting the film will be easier.  Also, I
developeed in a tank.
But for the 5x7 I'll use the trays.  That's why I wrote to Kodak.  I was
hoping that
the film would be available on a thicker base to make life easier.

     It's interesting to hear that the Polaroid P/N may be Panatomic-X  But
it's only 4x5.
My decision to move to 5x7 will allow me to try some new materials.  Like
developing
in pyro and contact printing onto Azo.  Plus I've got an old Elwood 5x7 fitted
with
a Componon 180mm for larger.  The Polaroid P/N is a very fine grained film
I've used,
but not recently.
