Thanks Ken and Karl for the feedback on the 120mm Angulon - makes me
feel rather happy and keen to use the lens. Funny how these urban
myths develop - makes you wonder how many people have actually used
the lens rather than paraphrasing others' comments seen on the web.
The little Angulon might make an interesting lens for 8x10 if I can
recess the lens board far enough. Don't know what the circle of
illumination is, but have a wideangle shot in mind that involves some
architecture with minimal movements. The gradual fade out of the
image to the edges would work well with the subject.
First job next week is to make another 4x4 lens board for the 120mm.
Cheers,
Clive
