Tom,

That's serious. The laws of supply and demand at work again. Maybe
you should take out two sheets of film when you go out with your
camera.

It would be strange if Forte is indeed the same film stock as
Bergger, strange but possible.....

Forte is cheaper than Bergger here in the UK.

From what was reported earlier from the film review, there is not a
lot of difference between the films so Forte becomes rather
attractive.

Yesterday I tried looking for the source of the information where I had read 
the Bergger film was the same as XXXX, but didn't find it.  It was on 
another discussion forum and I believe the person making that claim was in 
Germany.  At least that's my recollection; my memory just isn't what it used 
to to be!  I do recall that the person claimed Bergger was actually 
repackaged "Forte."  At least that's how the synapse connected.
