I can tell... I posted the same question to the IR list a few days ago and
only got one response--I figured you to be dead or out shooting... :)

In order not to type it all over again (and to make everyone here suffer
too), I'll just post the message I sent to the IR list:

Hey all,

I just got a Sinar rollfilm back for my 4x5 and I=B9m thinking of trying out
Konica 750. I=B9ve been shooting HIE for the last 5 years with an 87C
(screw-on and BTFR for the fisheye) and like the look, but I want a film
that I can load in subdued light and doesn=B9t have the halation--but I still
want to maximize the Wood Effect. I tend to shoot on IR rich days and
underexpose HIE for the jet black sky and glowing vegetation look and other
than the glow would like to keep the look as similar as possible.

I=B9ve perused the archives a bit and have noticed that some of you are using
the Wratten 87 with the Konica. Is there a noticeable difference between th=
e
87, 88A, and 89B? Is there a web site with comparisons? I looked at Marco=B9s
site:

http://www.pauck.de/marco/photo/infrared/comparison_of_films/comparison_of_=
f
ilms.html

But the sun wasn=B9t particularly strong that day and the effect is subtle.
I=B9m always on a tripod so I=B9m not concerned about dismal film speed...

One other possiblity would be to get the Roland=B9s 120/220 HIE:

http://www.homestead.com/infrared/

and get a changing bag. Although trying to load film into the Sinar back in
a changing bag doesn=B9t sound like much fun. But I think I want to play with
the Konica...

Also, since I have been using the 87C exclusively up to this point, I don=B9t
know much about the other filters. Is there a site that lists ALL the
different IR filter variations and wavelengths?

And, I=B9m shooting with a 58mm Super Angulon XL--what kind of filter setup
would you recommend? Some of the thin 67mm screw-on glass filters are real
expensive.

Any comments, suggestions, insults, or peals of laughter would be
appreciated...

I knew you would... :)
