Clive,

So this would be about how long all packed? I have a Manfrotto 190 (?) that
I use for 35mm work but found it to be a little light for 4x5... is your
Velbon similar and do you have any tricks to keep it steady (ier)?

Brock

| Brock,
|
| I normally take along an old Velbon alloy tripod that fits nicely
| into a tripod case with a shoulder strap. Somehow it seems to become
| invisible to the booking in people when it is slung over my shoulder
| and goes through the hand luggage scanners with no problems.
|
| This is a fairly compact tripod and is fine for a small 4x5 camera
| but too small for anything larger.
|
| Cheers,
| Clive
