[LargeFormat] Help, scratches on negative..

Dear Uncle and Curt,
to be honest, I am still confused. You both mean vertical (tall rather than
flat) containers of the size which can hold 4X5 negatives, no? Again the key
seems to be to suspend the negatives 1 inch off the bottom, how does one do
that? Uncle mentioned some kind of hangers but I did not get what he meant.
dip and dunk means I need to hold onto negatives vertically by something?
anything "commercial" recommended?
Pl write off list, if this is trivial; I do not wish to clog the traffic on
list.
