Very wise. Nikon is bringing out another 6 megapixel SLR at apparently half
the price of a D1. No rising front etc., superceded every two years by
something much better(!) rapid fall in secondhand value.  No rush.  Philip

 Do I
> A.  buy a medium format view camera and wide/small lenses knowning that
> medium format digibacks will come down or
> B. do I just go with a Nikon D1x and all the wide angle lenses, or
