I don't know the prices in the US vs. UK. I have never seen one of his
products but I hear they are very well thought out. I have a Metorlux II
for my Aristo VCL 4500. It has a probe that I had to install on the blue
tube. This allows me to time in lux and also makes the system a "closed
loop". It also has a small shutter checker built in and a small
densitometer. I also have a rig that allows me to change the enlargement
ratio and maintain the correct exposure. They are available from Calumet
Photo. I found mine used. They are about $400.00 new with all the bells
and whistles. I highly recommend the Metrolux II if you are looking for a
timer that has dead on accuracy with cold light heads.
