Dear Clive,

     Thank you for the kind invitation for the f32 workshop. Now if you will
please arrange for a free plane ticket to the UK and the Australian dollar
to rise to parity with the Pound, I will take you up on it.

    This last point is a sore one. I dealt in the past with a number of fine
firms in the UK - Harrods, Grays, RK Photographic, Ffordes, etc and always
got what I wanted at a good price. ( Surprisingly good from Harrods.) Now
the economic drop of our dollar has reduced this to buying books and
magazines and devising solutions here. Hence my experiments with Play-Doh TM
as a recording medium - good but low ISO number  - and my adaptation of old
lenses cut out of the front of Brownie box cameras in the studio.

    One bright spot in the future - I have been asked to hold a small
workshop myself on recreating Victorian photography for beginners. I can
hardly wait to start warping minds.

PS Keep up the JOBO processor theme troops, this is exactly what I want to
find out about. The algae problem is interesting and I can see where it
might be a problem for me here. I get algae growth in the Nova tanks as it
is.
