[LargeFormat] Compur #1 and Copal #1 for G-Claron 305mm f9

Am now a very happy bunny :-) Just picked up a 305mm f9 G-Claron in
barrel at a very reasonable price and also have a spare Compur #1
sitting here waiting for it.

My question is to all those of you who may have the lens in a Copal
#1 shutter which is what they are usually supplied in from the
factory. What is the width of the shutter between front and back for
the lens elements and are there any spacing rings used on the
elements?

I have a 180mm Sironar in a Copal #1 that does have a spacer
ring/washer behind the rear element. The front and rear element sets
screw straight into the Compur #1 as I am expecting the G-Claron to
do also.

Am sure that I have read somewhere that some people space out the
rear element a tad to make it happier for infinity focusing - any
thoughts on that from users of the lens (or otherwise) would be
interesting.

The only other thing required is an f-stop plate and I should be away.

Cheers,
        Clive
