Dear Clive,

     When you go into the opticians for your spectacles ask him for the
newfangled bifocals. Dr. Franklin swears by them. They will enable you to go
to your local public library and spend a rewarding morning trying to get the
angle of the blasted things correct to see the titles on the bottom shelf.
This will provide amusement and instruction for all the other users of the
library and if you stick your bottom in the air long enough you will meet an
entirely new class of good friends.

    As you get older you will be introduced anew to many parts of your body,
and they will do things that you never expected. Or not do things that you
used to enjoy. Some parts will become special friends and insist on waking
you up at night to go for a walk. Leave the light on.....and the seat
up.....

    If you are having real troubles focussing the 4 x 5 camera you might
need to get a Master Technika 2000 Electronic and let it do the looking for
you. I'll take care of your old gear for you in the meantime. No charge.
