Don,
take the lens and viewer sections off the Calumet and compress the =
bellows as much as you can then stick a ruler or tape measure thru the =
camera measure the compression. If you are in the 4 inch range a 90 mm =
could be in your future. The advantage of a removable bellows is that =
with the bag bellows on you can have movements and a 90 mm lens. =
Without a bag your movements will be very limited.

Some bellows cameras seem a bit limited at the wideangle end. It's =

Speaking of which... I have an old Calumet 4x5 rail, which does not =
have an interchangable bellows, and have been wondering if there's any =
point in trying to find a 90mm for it. Would a recessed board be enough =
to give me at least *some* movement? All I have in the way of lenses is =
a pretty old 165 (air shutter!), which doesn't seem particularly sharp, =
so if some spare cash came my way, I'd consider splurging on a wide if =
was a sensible idea.
