Dear Ming-Sung,

Cheer up. One advantage of large format is that you can take =
pictures with nearly anything on nearly anything. You have discovered =
part of that with your pinholes and secondhand lenses - and remember =
that there is a world of historic lenses sitting out there on the front =
of flea market cameras.

Think of trying paper negatives - both colour and monochrome. =
Cibachrome paper..... You can coat glass plates with Liquid Light =
emulsion or make up collodion plates. You can buff up silver-plated =
copper plates and sensitize them over iodine and bromine crystals. You =
can coat pewter plates with Bitumen of Judea and develop them with =
lavender oil. In short, you will never run out of film stock or =
something like it.

And remember you can lay in stocks of 4 x 5 film into the freezer =
and enjoy it for years to come.

     Uncle Dick
