I'd be interested to hear how the Apo-Ronar edged the Nikkor. I own the
Nikkor and it's a pretty stellar performer. If you're planning on buying in
the
US (I can't imagine why you would, but just in case) the Apo-Ronar is quite
a bit more expensive than the Nikkor.
The Nikkor has the slight advantage of being optimized for infinity rather
than
for 1:1. It seems like virtually every 4x5 photographer I meet has the
300mm
Nikkor-M in the bag. I didn't know the Fuji existed for quite a while after
I
bought the Nikkor, but I sometimes wonder how they compare head to head.
The Apo-Ronar, too, of course, but I'd have to buy that from your side of
the
pond since they are so expensive over here.
Anyone compared any of these three directly?
