Here is a straight answer....

given a 4x5 camera, with a 1 inch rise and fall ( +/- 1 inch from center)
.....horizintal shot ( landscape mode)
If you give the lens full rise, regardless of FL of the lens, the image will
rise a full 1/4 of the picture you first saw.

If you were to asseitch to a 5x7 camera, the change would be 1/5 .....

Is this what you mean?.... maybe if you explain what it is you are trying to
accomplish besides a math calculation?

I think if you try to understand my first explanation, the answer to your
first question would be more easily come to you.....
