Dear Clive,

     I shall be delighted to send you a photographic likeness of myself.
Unfortunately I cannot do it over the aether as I do not own a scanner. The
Post Office is open, however, and if you will tell me your postal address I
will send you one and you may post it for all the others.

     I did a series of cartes de visite for myself some time back and of
course I also have a likeness taken whenever I purchase new wives*. Which
would you prefer?
