Thanks Paul.  This thread has been useful in a current decision on a 
replacement long lens for a field outfit. Have more or less decided to go 
for a Rodenstock 300mm if one comes along at the right price. If anyone is 
considering selling one or knows of a good deal then please let me know off 
list :-)
