I kind of smiled when I saw the question about straighter fleeces.  NOTHING
wrong with a straight or wavy fleece on a Jacob - if fact there used to be a
debate about whether Jacob fleeces SHOULD be crimpy - and a number of very
experienced breeders believe that they should not be, traditionally.

I have had fleece buyers - usually weavers - who prefer straighter fleeces,
so don't think of it as a bad thing.  More just personal preference.    Peg

I often have the wavy fleece and I could look back at photos to see who had
that as newborns because I can't tell at this point.
