As described on page 8 of the spring 2015 issue of the JSBA Newsletter, on-site inspections for registration will be available at the AGM to be held July 17-19 in Mineral Point, Wisconsin. Currently, three JSBA inspectors plan to attend this year's AGM. Simply contact one of the inspectors (who will be identified at the AGM) with your request for an on-site inspection. Among the advantages of on-site inspections are that your applications may be presented in person to the inspectors (versus having to be mailed to accuRegister, the JSBA registrar), the registration process often is speeded up a bit, and a breeder/owner gains valuable input from hearing inspectors' comments.

Please be advised that a completed application for registration, including all photos and signatures (and wool sample for rams), still is required and should be presented to an inspector with your request for on-site inspection. Furthermore, full payment of required registration fees (by check or money order written to accuRegister) should be attached to your application(s). As always, rams must be at least 6 months old and ewe lambs old enough to be evaluated according to the breed standard (e.g., sufficient horn growth) in order to be registered.

Registration is a privilege of JSBA membership. Anyone who intends to request on-site inspections at the AGM should be sure his/her 2015 JSBA membership dues have been paid to accuRegister. Membership dues should be paid to accuRegister, not to JSBA. Contact information for accuRegister may be found on the JSBA website.
