[Jacob-list] Locker lamb prices

Wow. That is about as broad of a question as they come. But here is how we do it. We have a mixture of primitive and modern type Jacob sheep

Price. We use the Centennial Livestock prices as our baseline. Www.claauctions.com as they have one of the largest lamb and goat sales nationwide each Wednesday. I mark up my price accordingly as I have developed a specialty meat market.

We butcher September to November. Much of That depends on when I can get on my processors schedule

We get 40-60 pound carcasses (hanging weight) on our lambs. They are cutting about 50% of live weight
