[Jacob-list] Heat loss

Because wool retains heat while wet and gives off heat as it dries. 
That's one of the selling points for wool socks. And, as far as I can 
figure, since sheep don't sweat evaporative cooling isn't going to work. 
If you must mist your sheep, wet down their ears and horns.
