Thanks Heather and Jennifer.  It seems that similar symptoms occur with a variety of nutritional deficiencies.  As of today, my little "pet" lamb is on his feet and nursing and following his mama well.  In a couple of days, he may be ready to join the rest of the lambs.  (Fingers crossed.)
