I googled selenium sheep and the first site that came up had.a photo of a lamb that looked just like this little guy. I hope I can treat him and not lose him. Any ideas for dosage etc would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks already!

Believe anyone else with more experience than me, but if I were in your shoes and just guessing- I would consider selenium (BoSe) shots, antibiotics (joint ill?) and also consider feeding the milk replacer twice as often, half strength. I hope you get a reply from someone who is sure of what they are seeing. I do think at 10 weeks he should be eating as well as getting milk replacer. Is he around other sheep? Often lambs don't eat something until they see another sheep eat it.

>I have a bummer lamb that's about 10 weeks old.  He was one of a set of triplets...the first triplets any of my girls have had.  The ewe rejected 2...took to the first one with no problem but didn't want anything to do with the other two.  So the two started getting bottle fed.  One died the second day.  The other guy has been up and down as far as his health seems to go...he had a tough time then seemed to rally back.  Now he has a stiff legged gait with his front legs...one day he's up and around the next day he seems too weak to stand, then he comes back around.  For the past two weeks he's had this stiff gait and it seems like his front end isn't developing as fast as his backend.  His rear is higher then his front shoulders (kinda like a wheelbarrow).  He doesn't eat grass yet although he's out all day.  He's on powdered milk replacer.  And he's really small for being 10 weeks old...all my other lambs that age are twice his size.
