I have a few sheep for sale also. I have them posted on my webpage:

The rams will probably be going to market soon, if I have my way unless they
find a breeding buyer soon. Both are big singles who look like they are
ready for butchering and I have meat buyers ready and don't really want them
around for the fall. The only lamb that is bigger is my Tunis/Jacob single
ewe lamb.

Feel free to contact me by email with questions. I plan to be at the Fiber
Arts & Animals Festival (http://www.FiberArtFest.com) in Marshall, Michigan
for the Icelandic AGM October 2 and 3 and could possibly bring along another
sheep or two. I hope to have a horse trailer up and running by then.

On the subject of Jacob meat, I have had a lot of people who really enjoy
it, including the older ewes and crosses - mostly Icelandic/Jacob crosses.
I haven't sent an older ram to be butchered yet. I can't say I really like
it that much myself, but my kids do. My daughter likes lamb loaf better
than regular beef meat loaf.

The couple who likes to buy my cull ewes always seems really pleased with
them, and my ethnic buyer seems to prefer the Jacobs, but he also likes
whatever is biggest at the time.

I have one family who got 3 feeder lambs from me, 2 jacobs and a cross this
year. I'll have to check with him as to which they like better. Last year,
they got 3 crosses and liked them a lot.
