[Jacob-list] spinning

One problem with spinning wheels like the Ashford Traditional is that it
doesn't transport easily. Our fiber group has frequent Spin-Ins and we
travel periodically to other locations. Those that have spinning wheels
that don't fold up have to carry them around and try and fit them in their
car along with other people going to the event. Some stop bringing their
wheels and just bring their knitting which is much easier to carry. Others
eventually buy another wheel, either a mini-wheel or one that folds up for
travel. My Lendrum folds up and fits in a carrying case with a shoulder
strap. Just something else to consider when looking for a spinning wheel.
