[Jacob-list] Attack Sheep!

Thanks for sharing.

Last Spring I sold 4 Jacobs (2 ewes and 2 ewe lambs) to a woman that trains and exhibits herding dogs. She had a bit of trouble with them as they stood their ground against a single dog- so, she had to train THEM to be herded - she brought them back when she moved to WY (she also sold off her other sheep to avoid extra transport expense).

Awhile back 5 of the adult ewes found a break in the fence (or made it bigger) and all went for a hike. Their llama could have joined them but she chose to stay in the barn/paddock. The sheep are mostly safe as long as they stay together and hang around the yard/barn/summer pasture out back because of the geese and ducks also roaming free. Also this was a balmy day broad daylight. After a while they started to worry about getting supper - so, they came back near the barn and were ready to go back in.
