>From my La Leche League experience, if you put fresh milk

(breast, sheep, goat, all works) in a creature's eye
(human, animal), it will cure the pink eye real fast. Milk
straight from the source is the only living antibiotic there is.

Last fall I had a bout with cloudy-eye that was really pinkeye. There is a puffer (bottle of yellow powder) you can get at TSC (livestock supplies)
that will cure it. It was right after the last fair and I think somebody brought it home. Only 3 ewes got it and all recovered. I also got some emu oil to use on eyelashes of llama that had some trauma to her eye - bee sting I think and it works too. Emu oil is an amazing (emazing) curative-there is a pharma grade for people too as well as the vet grade.

She can still see out of it a little bit. This eye was always a little worse than the other as it always leaked more. Is there anything I should do for her eye? Should I breed her or cull her? I read in Ingrid Painter's book that you could breed ewes with split eyelids but you really shouldn't breed rams with it.

Thanks,

One of my ewes had a ram lamb this morning! The first one this lambing season! :)
