[Jacob-list] vet visit

The State visit costs nothing. I think someone said
the test costs $11 per but not sure which state that
was in. I put my sheep in a small area and she just
looks over the fence at the ear tags which is easy
because I bought my own ear tags with the right
numbers but also with my farm name on them. On the
ones you get yourselves the numbers are big enough
that you do not need to grab the sheep. The sheep
supply catalogues have them and I have never had one
tear out.
I am thrilled that so many people have tested and
have RR sheep. I think they should start marketing
that fact..especially ram lambs as that would be a
definite improvement if they are RR to any flock they
were bred to. I know my ram's full brother is RR but
I have to get mine tested. Thanks to those who have
shared their testing results. Victoria
