I sent this before but never saw it posted so I thought it could be Aim/netscape as it changes the name it is sent out from... so if it is a double post sorry.

What adorable babies.... We have only had one so far. A question I have is don't they season at the same time? if so, if one had them a week ago and the other girls season but did not settle does that mean I should expect these in another 3 weeks from the first one? or if they have twins does it just take a bit longer? The girls do look like they are ready to pop yesterday!!! I always worry they are just being blocked and need to get out lol.... My little Mary ewe follows me like a puppy wanting me to rub her tummy and being a big baby... I hope I am with her when she lambs.

You can see my lamb http://www.shilohmtnfarm.com/Whos%20the%20daddy.htm scroll all the way to the bottom. She is with a Nigerian dwarf Dairy Goat who looks like a Jacob sheep...... the lamb is the one in the back....lol If I sent this already... forgive me I forget a lot lol

Hi Beryl a nd Jacob sheep listers,
I have about 8 wethers that I have kept with the whole flock for a
couple of years now. Sometimes I split the rams from the ewes (like
this time of year when lambs start arriving) just so I don't have to
watch out for the rams... The wethers go along to keep the rams
company. Now and then a wether hops the fence and joins the girls but
I have never had any trouble. If a younger ram now and then
challenges a bigger one a bit seriously, it is interesting how all the
wether 'uncles' step in and body block the combatants. They do get
big but their fleeces are nice. A couple are very serious pets : )

PS I have just updated my webpage with photos of my first 4 lambs....3
ewe and 1 ram lambs so far....ewe pages 2 and 3
