[Jacob-list] Hay Woes

We're paying $180 a ton for excellent second cutting alfalfa. I feel kind  of 
lucky that Colorado has so many suppliers. Our supplier has acres of alfalfa  
and acres of bales in a giant warehouse. The bales weigh about 65 pounds. You 
 get between 30-32 bales in a ton. 
 
The sheep are happy and we are happy. And lucky we don't have to worry  about 
finding a substitute for the alfalfa.
