[Jacob-list] Split eyelids

I went out to the barn this morning and found that one of my ewes had
just lambed. She had twins, a ewe and a ram. That makes a total of
eight lambs, three of which are ewes. Upon further inspection I noticed
that the eyelids are split, and I would say it's pronounced with two
seperate flaps. According to the JSBA site a class 3 is acceptable for
registration. What is peoples general feeling on this topic. Are split
eyelids really bad, something to avoid, or just the shepard's
preferance. Other than the eyelids she looks like a nice ewe with great
markings. Before this morning I only have one ewe lamb that I will keep,
it's been a heavy ram year, so I would love to have a second that I could
keep but want to stay true to the breed standard. Any help on this would
be appreciated.
