Hi,
 
1.  Milking Jacobs isn't regularly done and isn't in the best interest of dam or offspring.
 
2.  Breeding dates via the handy=dandy chart in Laura Lawson's Managing Your Ewe for Aug 29 would produce offspring Jan 22.  
 
This is just one example from the year-round breeding chart.  I would say your sheep are right on time---nothing unusual in birthing with your ram exposure.
