[Jacob-list] USDA Ewe Lamb Retention Payment Program Announced

Just wanted to get the word out that the USDA has finally announced the Ewe 
Lamb Replacement/Retention Payment for the period of 8/1/03 through 7/31/04.  
If you purchased or kept any ewes for the purpose of breeding them you may be 
eligible for a payment of up to $18 per ewe lamb.

Sign up for the payments started in late October.  An ending date has not yet 
been established but the FSA (Farm Service Agency) is encouraging people to 
submit their applications ASAP.
