OK, all my shepherd friends..........please e-mail me your
advice/experiences in dealing with tapeworms.  Fecal exams are showing
tapes in our lambs.........those of you who have had this problem, how
have you treated it?  Have you had a problem with toxicity in the lambs
following worming?  What wormer & dosage did you use?  How do you prevent
repeat problems?  Have any of you used natural wormers for tapes and do
they work.........and I mean is it proven by microscopic exam that they
work?   My understanding is that tapes are usually not a problem because
they aren't a blood sucking parasite.........however, in large quantities
they are a problem.  Any information would be most
appreciated....thanks.....we've had Jacobs for 10 yrs. and have never had
a problem prior to this......guess the good Lord thought I needed
something new to think about!!!!!
