[Jacob-list] delivery after eating.

Hi,

I think Betty B. jinxed me. I have had 4 lambs born this spring and 2 of them have been born immediately following feeding in the evening----and the moms both chowed down. There goes that delightful theory of their behavior at my place.

I did jug up a ewe this am that was not interested in breakfast and was wandering around looking like she was wondering why she had come to the breakfast table. She hasn't "dropped", but something is not right. We have this whopper of a storm coming in (and I can just bet you there isn't a cup of milk or a loaf of bread in the grocery stores), so there would go another one of my theories if she or a few others decided to burst forth with babies today.

Theories are made to be broken by an ever-willing Jacob sheep! They should also keep us ever away from pride.

I had a beautiful little ram lamb last night. Had a beautiful ram born a few years ago that created more controversy in his lifetime than any ram should. His name was Nuts. This one will be Nutsy just for good luck.....since Nutsy's grand-dad was the ram that killed Nuts in a rather gruesome manner after shearing.
