Hi Victoria-
The behavior you are describing sounds to me like two sheep happy to be 
together again...were they separated during the breeding?  This is your 
younger ewe and from what you have written to me off list, the wether is 
young also, so it makes sense that they are bonded a bit.
With my flock, an unbred ewe at this time of year would probably cause some 
unrest in the flock.  If the ram was nearby, he would smell her and be 
pacing.  A ewe in heat will often go over to the fence nearest the ram and 
tease.  Since she is a yearling, my guess is that she is bred by now...  an 
adult ram (2 1/2, right?) with only 2 ewes usually doesn't waste any time. 
But like most things with these guys, it is only a guess!  *smile*  Glad to 
know your yearling and wether like each other so much though...
