[Jacob-list] milking questions....

We have milked a few ewes, when the lamb died. The milk was frozen for future lambs or used to make feta cheese, and it was very good. We averaged about a quart per day. Milking them, one at a time, on an old fashioned milking stand, with a grain treat in a bucket, was a easy routine for them to learn, even the "wild one". The ewes that we've milked are friendlier since that time. This has been our experience.
