I noticed that Neal is in North Carolina.  I'm not familiar with the
weather down there, but I would assume (correct me if I'm wrong) that late
spring/summers are fairly warm.  The year that Kate had her lambs in
October we had a rather cool summer here in Maine.  I'm wondering if
climate (especially that which allows for more unseasonably cool weather)
is more of a factor than breed.  

Still hoping for a warm summer, :-)
