Lis t mem bers,

Isabel is on the way out ... Only lost 3 cattle panels to falling limbs.
Lots of leaves on the ground, lots of water but not much else.
Occasional gusts make 50 ft trees wave at me ... more though the night but lessinging ...

Work in Durham was interesting, power kept flickering, network branches failed, gave up
to head home before the worst came through ...

  Subject: [Jacob-list] more fencing questions

I have used diamond mesh horse fencing on my perimeter fence for 10 years with no problems, it pulls tight and keeps dogs out, but watch out for gate areas. Probably higher $/ft than some other suggestions. I have had problems with cattle-fence panels with goats getting their heads and horns stuck thru them and not being able to pull back but only one time with a Jacob. Another side note- I've seen people use hog panels with sheep for containment (3' high) and the Jacob's can hop these easily if they are pressed. Good luck!
