Several national groups including the Southern Sustainable Working Group
and
the National Campaign for Sustainable Agriculture are working to build a
network of people interested in agriculture that is profitable,
environmentally sound, and socially responsible.
 
We can help ag producers find and use federal programs that support
innovative farming and ranching practices.  Examples of such help might
include:
- assistance with developing new markets;
- support for value-added products;
- support for research or demonstrations on production practices such as
  crop diversification, tillage and weed control practices in drought
  conditions, etc., and
- support for new agriculturally related business development.
