[Jacob-list] tail length

An alternative time to count would be if there are any dead lambs at or just after birth.  It would be easy then to remove the tail at it's root, skin it and count the vertebrae.
When do you start lambing over there so that I could remind you all closer to that time?  (It is more difficult to contact British Jacob breeders in this way, although we shall try)
