The ramp shouldn't be a problem once they get used to it--especially if the
hay and grain are in the building!  Mine will climb, jump, run, and
practically turn cartwheels if there is food involved.  When you first bring
them home  you might try putting some hay just at the top of the ramp where
they can see it so they know where the food is to be found.
