[Jacob-list] beannie/hat looms

    There is a older gentleman here who makes hat/scarf/afghan looms.  
They are actually becoming quite a fad in Utah.  The beannie looms come 
in five different sizes infant $5.00, child $5.00, youth$5.00, teen 
$8.00,  and adult $9.00.   The afghan looms are $10.00.  I have tried 
making a youth beannie hat and it was fun.  Took only about an hour to 
make and 1/2 an ounce of yarn.  I made the mistake of washing mine to 
see how it felted...it now looks like a cap I would give a Jewish man.  
If this is of interest to anyone, I can send pictures if you would like 
to see these looms or my beanie no. 2 that has not been washed.  Just 
let me know.
