    One on the farms I had visited here in Utah looking for animals, 
 had installed various sizes of brushes off street cleaners that had 
been discarded for their animals to rub up against. To get that special 
scratch.  The smaller brushes were hung along the fence and the larger 
were planted like poles in the ground.  This farm had gotten the idea 
from visiting another farm in Calif.
