[Jacob-list] mystery lamb

Melody,

I have one old ewe - Uxtepol Rebecca - who is the Ovine version of a mutt,
being part Jacob,part Barbados Black Belly, and probably some other stuff.
We breed her to my Jacob rams to produce our meat for the freezer, as she
almost always twins, and sometimes lambs twice a year.

In mating her with Jacob rams, she has produced lambs that look like Jacobs;
100% black lambs; and 90% + white lambs, and combinations thereof in the
same lambing! I have leared that in addition to supplying my family's meat
and serving as the "Alpha" ewe, Rebecca delights us each spring (and some
falls) with her guess-what-I'm-going-to-have this morning lambing sessions!
