[Jacob-list] Gross! Flystrike in a horn!?

Katrina,

This might be Nose Bot, as opposed to flystrike....this fly lays eggs on or
in the sheeps nostrils, and when they hatch, they crawl up the sinuses and
into the horn cavities...the maggots can be up to one inch long (I know,
this is really GROSS stuff). Did you notice this sheep pressing its nose to
the ground (to avoid flies) or sneezing alot this summer?

If it's nose bot, she's probably still got larvae in her sinuses ....I
understand you can use IvomecR, but it takes a full month to kill
everything.
