You got it Neal - the saw wire is great.  We used one a few yrs. ago on a
fairly large ram - works like a charm and the beauty of it is that,  1)
it slices through the horn like butter, and 2) the wire creates heat as
it cuts the horn and automatically cauterizes the vessels, minimizing
bleeding.  Would recommend it over any other options mentioned.
